Didnt know how I would do, my scales at home indicated a gain but im not sure how accurate they are.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Very very busy day at work, so grabbed porridge when i started working and didnt stop till lunchtime! Had cous cous for lunch and had drank loads of coffee in the morning so that gave me a little headache.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even though I was busy, still mangaged to finish early and get back home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Got to class and the scales said I had a 2.5 pound loss!! :-) That was such a weight off my shoulders! 2.5 pounds of weight to be exact!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mysterious girl came round for tea. She lost 2 pounds! :-) We are both big losers!! I did us a recipe I found on the slimming world website. Was maccaroni cheese bake (see website for details) I did it with new potatoes with a tiny bit of olive oil and chives. It tasted too good to be true!! but i followed the recipe so it should be all good. Things went better than planned.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We didnt stick to SW, but that can be understood. We didnt go mental, just had a few bottles of wine and the odd pizza :-S&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No Class this week as its been canceled. I got on my own scales and id had a gain, so good job really! Mysterious girl lost a pound! She is so jammy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Invited her round for tea and cooked a slimming world meal, all off the website.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I did Steak with a peppercorn sauce with green beans and roast butternut squash. For dessert I did a chocolate mousse with a rasberry coolie. It went down well. There was nothing left on our plates! Makes a change to pasta in sauce!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Its great to be back in the kitchen again! Cooking proper food that is! Im sure there will be plenty more of those to come! There is loads of stuff on the website! I weigh less than my brother! Which means i can nick his clothes! Nicked a pair of his jeans and stole a couple of tops. What he doesnt know cant hurt him can it!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another great slimming world week. A few bits here and there but nothing to write home about. Im spending the weekend with mysterious girl this week, so im really looking forward to that. Not sure how the diet will go but we will have to see. We both like red wine so we said we would drink some of that. We could cook SW style over the weekend but we will cross that bridge when we come to it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still having porridge, ive got used to it now and i still really like it! I dont miss having sugar in either, tastes sweet enough to me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cous Cous for lunch. She is an amazing girl . She doesnt want to be named on here so ill refer to her as "Mysterious Girl" One good thing about mysterious girl is that she also does slimming world!! So it will be great for both of us! We will be able to support each other and do the whole slimming world thing together! :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Buying clothes is so much easier at the moment. I can just pick jeans or t-shirts up and know they will fit without me trying them on! Plus i can find the size in pretty much every shop!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My self esteem is at an all time high, what with mysterious girl, clothes and weight loss!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had a good week, nothing bad at all either! Stuck to it 100 percent!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The scales at class say a 3.5 pound loss. I was extactic! So I should be with the great week i have had!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Although, I havent felt very hungry of late, ive been forcing food into me which is something i have never had to do!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had quorn sausages and mash for tea, with beans. One reason is no time at work and no internet connection at home!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still been having porridge for breakfast etc etc. Nothing much has changed except my waste size :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Im now down to a 36" waste! Thats from a 42" i would have never thought i would be in a 36"!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Im now buying large tops insted of xxl or xl and they fit great and dont look baggy!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There have also been a few things that have happend but ill wait and see how they turn out before i jump the gun!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some idiot pulled out on my while i was on my motorbike and a came off. Was only going about 10 miles an hour but ive really hurt my shoulder and they guy said it was my fault! Im sure ill find out what happends in about 17 months time when the insurance sort things out!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My slimming world tale goes like this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;29/10/08 - loss - 3 pounds&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5/11/08 - loss - 1.5 pounds (Probably due to a big sunday lunch i had)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had a really good week this week, didnt have too much i shouldnt, just the odd quality steet at work, nothing the diet police need to arrest me for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The scales at class said a 2.5 pound loss. I was happy with that, due to last weeks result. Its all going the right way. Id like to say it wasnt choclate, or a muffin, but i cant!! But im not letting those get me down! Plus im 25 tommorow and that doesnt help!! I can remember when i was 14 and couldnt wait to be 25. But now i am 25, i want to be 14 again!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, enough of my quarter life crisis!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Porridge again! Although i did have it at work as over slept a bit this morning, so had it while i was logging on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch was pasta in sauce, chicken flavor and tried not to drink much as its weigh in tonight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Arrived at class. There i was hardly anyone there!! Pretty much me and about 3 or 4 other people there!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Scales said a 3 pound loss, was really happy with that! seeing as i had a few bad things. Im sure they will come back and haunt me at some point!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had pasta in sauce for tea. I love it!! Used to eat these all the time when i lived in leeds, except then i used to put loads of butter in. Had things i shouldnt but not in excess. Had a few chip shop chips on friday, and some white bread over the weekend. Plus some sweets but like i said, nothing in excess!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast was porridge, im sticking with it! and im loving it!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My work clothes are getting so baggy!! Im down the the last hole in my belt and I started on the first one!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Peoples remarks are getting more and more and im feeling great.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch was cous cous again. I know I know, getting like the jacket and beans, but it fills me up and im ready to get back to work after!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Arrived at class a little late as I had to finish work late. Well, late for me is 5 past seven. Im a stickler for time. I always like to be early, except one exception ;-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Scales said a 2.5 pounds loss!! Was suprised as i had a lot of rubbish over the weekend but ill take it!! I am really enjoying it! I think there is something about having something warm for breakfast! Also its keeping me hunger free till lunch time which is a bonus.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Somebody recomended scotts oats which are in sachets. They just happen to have the right amount in the pack also :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had pasta in sauce for lunch, been along time since ive had those, they dont taste free though, im scepticle!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Arrived at class and queued to weigh in. 4 Pounds off!! Was well pleased! I knew I was coming down with something.  A few people at work had had a cold thing so I must have caught it from there. After the tickle I started to feel worse and worse throughout the day. By the 6pm I was feeling really crap! A drink (Diet Coke) at the local with Dave and Flyn picked me up, they always do!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  When I got home I food optimised which helped! I was really craving for comfort food! I had quorn lamb mint steaks, beans, mustard smash and some brown sauce, and to top it off, Ricky gervais live on dvd! You cant get better than that!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Its weird, this is why I like getting a cold sometimes! Its not the feeling ill, but its the wrapping up in a duvet and eating comfort food watching a dvd! Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Had a chat online with a SW friend then went to bed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  This morning I felt horrible! I could hardly breath and I sounded like a walruss! My throat was like barbed wire and my head was like cotton wool!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Special K Bar (not good for the throat)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Chickpea Dahl and rice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After lunch I felt OK, so I went to me mam and dads to pick up the drum kit for Tuesday as we have a gig in Boston. Stayed for a few hours then headed back home and retired to bed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I can really feel the weight coming off now!! My jeans full down in asda :-S luckily  no one was in the isle to see. I am refusing to buy new jeans till after another month at least. Ill wear a belt till then!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. 1 Minted quorn lamb steak, 2 quorn sausages, beans and mustard mash. With shaun of the dead.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I tried to freeze a muller light yog today thinking it would go like frozen yog. I opened it and it was like an ice cube! I think you have to leave to defrost a bit. Trousers seem the same but I am optimistic!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. 1 Banana and orange juice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had to force down my breakfast this morning, I just wasnt in the mood but it went down eventually. It was quite cold on the scooter this morning but got to work in 10 minutes again! The traffic was really bad and I just gave them dust!! Had a chat with a fellow biker at the lights. We were chatting about the coldness. It didnt last long as the lights changed!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Cous Cous, Light lunch, wasnt really hungry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, I am 100% sure my stomach has shrunk. After the cous cous i felt as full I would after eating a jacket and beans! Me and debs are always having cous cous now! Its the new thing at work! Felt peckish at about 3pm so I had a muller light yog.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Monday and tuesday were very good days! Had Chickpea Dahl on monday and Asda Bombay potatoes on tuesday with rice. It wasnt as nice as chickpea Dahl but was still nice!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I dont know if im doing right about syns. I dont really want any. Im using them with the micro rice etc but im not the kind of person that has to have the syns because they are there! I dont know how this will lead me in the future but only time will tell!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Arrived at slimming world in the car tonight as it was extra cold!! Plus I like to look presentable at meetings, I dont fancy the idea of turning up with helmet hair!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another 3 pounds off this week! Im well chuffed!! Thats over a stone I have lost now in just over a month! Im guessing things will slow down but starting the gym again next week so they should iron out! There is a nice fella there who has lost alot of weight and is near his target who has only put on a pounds a couple of times, so he is my inspiration. I asked him if he wanted to come to our gig on the 24th as he is in a band too and he said he would try and make it!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Quorn sausage and mash. Didnt really think about tea. Tea was great, everyone enjoyed it and the comedy club was a riot!&lt;br /&gt;Ive never been to one before and it was great! Much better than watching standup on a dvd, as you are actually there! You feel part of the show! The guy who was on last was the best. He was doing very very dirty sexual innuendo stand up of which im a big fan! I just glad we didnt stand near the front!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am going for a walk this aftertoon at sprotbourgh falls in doncaster with a friend. The weather looks ok but according to the weather report it should brighten up!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetatbix with semi skimmed nilk and orange juice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast is second nature to me now. I can't not have it otherwise I feel crap leading up to lunch! Its something I thought I would never say!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. 2 bananas, apple and muller yog.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wasnt too hungry at lunch so just had something light and ive put a few things in a bag for the walk this afternoon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well the walk was brilliant, the sun was shining and we had a great time! The weather did get colder towards the end of it and i was shivering a but all in all was a good walk!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. 3 Quorn sausages and smash.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Was quite hungry for tea so i had 3 quorn sausages with some smash and brown sauce. I needed some comfort food after the walk to get me warm again. I still havent been to the gym this week. Ive had a lot on plus im still doing the experiement.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ive had a really good couple of days after weigh in on Wednesday. Constantly food optimising which is making me feel great! I can actually feel the weight comming off now!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Im still getting loads on compliments at work which is all good and is really egging me on! You will have to excuse if this posting is a little short, as I have a really busy day ahead! I have to buy ingredients for Flyns birthday Tea and go across and see my folks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. 2 Bananas and black coffee&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. 2 bananas and an apple due to big tea!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, i am going to eat what ill be cooking tonight as its a special occasion. I wont go crazy and eat 5 or 6 burritos, ill eat till im full!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Its amazing how much my attitude to food has changed in the past month. I think I made it a bit hot for her as i could see a tear in her eye. She said she liked it hot! I didn't tell her, but i found it a little hot for my taste. I also had a tear in my eye due to heat!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Feeling good today. Feel on top of the world! You have no idea how much of an impact slimming world has had on my mood and confidence! I just wish I had done this sooner!! But there is no time like the present. I know that doesn't make sense does it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Vegetable cous cous. (Light lunch due to weigh in)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Surprisingly i felt full after the light lunch! Its flyns birthday (one of my best mates and debs' boyfriend) on sunday, so I said I would cook on saturday plus we were going to a comedy club to celebrate. The last time I cooked for friends I did mexican burritos and they went down a storm! SO we decided I should do those! I will have some but not go mental!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Arrived at donny slimming world HQ. Lindsay said I was looking slim! That put a smile on my face!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Weight loss this week was 3 pounds!! Think if I had gone to the gym! Im just half a pound off a stone! Doh! Oh well, at least it will be a stone next week, if im good!! Which I will be of course!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Ive given the rest of my optifit yogs to dave as he is trying to put weight on.....My heart bleeds! He says his trousers are getting too loose, he is about a 28 or 30 waste!! Mental!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetabix with semi skimmed milk and black coffee&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Breakfast went down well today. I even had 2 weetabix as opposed to the 1 I can normally have! Weather was shite today which wasnt the best start to the day but hey, why moan!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Everyone is still giving me encouraging words at work which is fab and it means alot! Got hungry at about 11.30.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch, 2 jacket potatoes with beans (yes...again)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I am fed up of jackets and beans now, I promise i will give them up for a week or so!! I could only manage 1 and a half potatoes!! Im sure my stomach is shrinking!! Finished lunch with an apple. Felt really full again!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No snackage at work, just water and tea,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At lunch I went to asda and bought some quorn. Now...ive always had reservations about quorn. Its meat that doesn't have any meat in it. To me, that sounds wrong! I bought some anyway as its free on both red and green days. I got some sausages, burgers and some mince. They were quite cheap compared to the equivalent of their meat friends.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Whole meal rice with 2 quorn sausages.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well.....I am amazed!! The quorn sausages tasted just like sausage! They were gorgeous and free on green and red days!! I couldn't believe how good they tasted, for a sausage with no meat, they were so meaty! Didn't do a thing wrong! Had chili on saturday and sunday. Once with rice and another with a jacket potato.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Monday morning was a real shock. I know I keep going on about my trousers but this is the way i can monitor my weight loss. Im down 4 belt notches now!! Ive compared with my starting notch and im well chuffed!! This is the thinnest ive been in a long time!! My confidence is up also!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; More compliments at work! I can only just manage 3 quarters of a tin with rice. Debs is into chickpea dahl now, she loves it! We are now lunch buddies!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; The weirdest thing happened today. I keep catching my reflection and really noticing a difference! Im like, who is that! ITS ME!! Shirts are getting baggier!  Today i wore an old black shirt ive not wore because it was too small. It fits with room to spare! People said I looked like the man from the milk tray ad cos I was all in black! Ill take any complement!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Got home in speedy time today because of the scooter. Normally takes me a good 20 mins to get home. 10 mins today! Im still a bit nervous when filtering but you cant be too careful with all those idiots around!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Pasta with quorn mince tomato and chili homemade sauce.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea was really nice today, makes a change from jacket potatoes. Plus im getting back into this cooking lark! I promised debs I would make a chili for her as she liked the sound of the one I made the other day. It really means alot!&lt;br /&gt;My trousers are really loose at the minute! I may have to buy some new ones! Also shirts are getting a little baggy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Chickpea Dahl and basmati Rice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I learn something new every week!! You can get a chickpea curry from asda called chickpea dahl which is free on a green day. Its one of the best things from a tin I have ever tasted! I am using microwave steamed rice in stead of dried rice as its quicker. It is a few syns and im counting them. Plus im not having a lot of syns a day so they are nothing really!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Work is getting a little busier as there is only 2 of us producing ads a work. Still quiet on somedays but at least there is more work to go round since there is 2 of us instead of 3.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I bought a scooter at the weekend! Its to save money on petrol more than anything, plus I get to work a hell of alot faster than in the car! Think of all the calories burnt while shivering in the cold!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Quorn Chili and rice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh my!! More comfort food! I thought I would try the quorn mince today and make a chili! I was in heaven! Chili is one of those foods that I associate with comfort food. Its filling, hearty, hot and it makes your nose run! I didnt eat all of it. I am sure my stomach has shrunk since starting slimming world!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here is my recipe for quorn chili!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ingredients - Quorn Mince. 1 tin of plum tomatoes. garlic. Swartz chili con carne mix, 1 onion, red kidney beans and rice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Method. Fry some quorn mince in fry light. Add a tin of plum tomatoes and chop them through with a knife, not too much, you need some lumps! Then add some garlic and the kidney beans. Mix and simmer. Lastly add the chili con carne mix, stir and smimmer for 15 mins. Cook your rice then serve! Ove been to the gym everyday since thursday and feel  great! I have gone down 2 belt notches in my belt! My trouser will fall down if i dont wear the belt! I could buy more trousers but i may leave it a little longer!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. 2 Bananas black coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Im getting loads of compliments at work now saying how much thinner I look! Even from chris!! Now theres a first! He says im wasting away!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Tomato tango cous cous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Now, i dont feel very hungry ay lunch, i could only just finish my cous cous and its weigh day. I had 2 apples during the afternoon which helped me along. I know what you may think, but I am not starving myself! I just aint hungry! Ive got debs from work into cous cous now and she is loving it! Im an inspiration!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Didnt feel hungry at all during the afternoon, and i was nervous about weigh in. Its not weight loss anymore. Its like a game to me, to try and get the biggest number I can every week. You can add that to the list of weird techniques I use. They work!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Arrived at slimming world. There was no image therapy this week as lindsay was feeling unwell so it was in, weight, then out! Well.. I was shocked at my weight loss this week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4.5 pounds!! I couldn't believe it!!! The gym has obviously paid off. Thats more than half a stone in 3 weeks!! Unbelievable!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Quorn sausages!!! I will test them out to see if they like them!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. scrambled eggs and black coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Jacket potato and low fat cottage cheese (no beans!!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My mam and dad are proud that im loosing the weight which is a big bonus on my mood and determination! Why wouldn't they be!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Quorn sausages, syn free chips egg and beans. All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  This is the best tea I have had so far!! The chips tasted like real homemade chips, well....they are in theory!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks to Sarah P for the method!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ingredients - Potatoes, fry light, salt and pepper.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Cut your potatoes into chips sized pieces. Par boil in water for around 5 to 10 mins until slightly soft. Drain and shake in the pan to add roughness.&lt;br /&gt;  Spray a baking tray with fry light, add boiled chips and spray lightly with fry light and cover with salt and pepper. Insert into oven at around 220 degrees for about 45 mins. Keep shaking the chips and spraying lightly with fry light.&lt;br /&gt;  Believe me they taste amazing!!&lt;br /&gt;Microwave 2 quorn sausages and place in oven for 5 mins, nuke some beans and fry 2 eggs with fry light.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Serve...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eggs, Syn free chips, quorn sausage and beans.....DONE!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just call me Gordon Ramsey!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Night time snackage - Nil as I felt soooo full!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;17th sept Wednesday. Weetabix with optifit yog and black coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Ill have to stop it with these yogurts, im sure they are bad for me. Had 2 on monday and 1 on tuesday, Monday and tuesday were great, food optimised on both and trousers are even looser!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Cous cous and veg,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I wasn't popular at work today. I stank the office out with my microwave veg. Even the chief exec of the company mentioned the smell. Woops!! Im eating light today as its weigh day. I dont know if I should, but as long as I do that every wednesday i should be ok!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Got to slimming world at 5 to seven and waited to weigh in.  I had lost 2,5 pounds this week. I was really pleased but it wasnt as much as last week. At least its going the right way, i will soon find out why...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I got talking about the yogurts and it turns out I had bought the wrong ones :-(&lt;br /&gt;The ones I had been eating had 4 syns in a pot. Ive started to do more miles on the bike as its getting easier. I am really feeling the benefit now. I cant explain how good I feel! All I can say is, try it! Its more noticeable for me as ive been overweight for number of years, most days I have felt crap. Also I haven't been having heart burn, which is common in overweight people. I used to get it all the time, i should have had shares in rennie antacid tablets!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetabix with semi skimmed milk. Black coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch and tea. Bacon with mushrooms and eggs. I know I said a week of green but i had a craving for meat!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  At the last slimming world meeting I overheard someone talking about optifit yogurts from aldi and that the were free. So I went to aldi on saturday and bought loads of these yogurts which had cereal in. They are the best thing ever!! They are sooo creamy. They taste too good to be true! Im not sure. Ill have to admit, I ate 7 of these today and another 3 yesterday. Today I have stomach cramps, so im guessing its the yogs. I also went to the gym yesterday and today!! WOOP!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I had seen a trailer for a film called the strangers was telling someone at work about it. It looks really good! Graham at work had lent laura my housemate a dutch film called funny games that was similar so me, laura and dave watched it. It was ok but Im not into films with subtitles, besides the stomach cramps were bad. My trousers are a little looser also!! Time for a belt soon!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetabix with semi skimmed milk. Black Coffee&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everyone at was really pleased with my weight loss yesterday! It just gets better and better!! My boss is saying how I look thinner! It means the world!! GO SLIMMING WORLD!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Jacket potato and beans&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know I know, having this again! BORING I hear you say. I didnt have time to get anything from the shops so I brought in what I had from home, I still enjoyed it though! Felt really full after which is good news.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This may sound pathetic but when I walk i feel lighter! Its put a spring in my step!! Also im not thinking about food anymore! Food is an after thought now! Its amazing how much my attitude to food has changed over the past week! Eating all this healthy food has also made my skin brighter and I feel ten times better than I did before!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Vegetable Rigatoni.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Someone at work was leaving so we had a meal out at an Italian place in Doncaster called Quintas. Its really nice! I had this pasta thing that had roast veg in it. It was quite oily but i tried to get rid of some of it. Not as much on the plate as I normally put on. I really wanted to weigh myself but couldn't do it! I had no battery.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Scrambled Egg and orange juice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Who would have thought, that I would be eating scrambled egg for breakfast!! Ive really taken to it now!! Thats my limit at the minute though!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As it was weigh day I though I would eat light. Red day it was!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Asda cooked chicken Legs with no skin, salad and low fat dressing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I didn't feel half as full as I do on a green day and felt hungry about an hour after lunch, so I had a couple of apples to keep me going. Im not sure I like red days as much as green days. I will try and have a week full of green next week and see how I get on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Weigh in......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was really nervous when I got to slimming world. Lindsay asked me how my week was and I said it was good apart from the drinks on saturday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I waited in line to hear my fate........I had lost 3 and a half pounds!! I couldn't believe it!! All the effort had paid off!! I was below 17 stones which I haven't been for years!! Thats over a bag of sugar!! I was over the moon! It spurred me on even more for the next week! Im even waking up earlier!! The trouser feel ever slightly loose!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetabix with semi skimmed Milk. Woofed down!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I am starting to get the hang of breakfast now! I never thought I would. My mum would tell you "Our Dan, never been one for his breakfast" Thats all changed!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Got to work early feeling great!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. jacket potato with beans (again)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Im sorry, but its so easy to make!! Im getting near the point where i could look like a jacket potato and beans soon. Well, just the beans, I look like a potato (round) thats a little dig at myself! But not in the future!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Went though the day without a snack again. The writers had some cookies and muffins. I wasn't even tempted! I had a cup of tea instead, of course made everyone a drink to have with their muffin!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Pasta with mushrooms, tomato pasata and chillies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  When I got home my house mate was making his tea so i waited till he had finished as I wasn't that hungry. The pasta I made tonight was extra hot!! I like it hot but I think I added a few too many chillies. Was still nice though. But I had to forget about that and carry on as normal!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Special K sustain with semi skimmed milk (forced down!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After breakfast I felt loads better! My mood is getting better and better!! I cant believe how good I feel!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Normally on a sunday, its bed day. But today, I went to the gym!! You wont believe how good I felt after, so alive! I did a few miles on the bike, on the treadmill and 1000 meters on the rowing machine. Not much but slowly slowly catchy monkey!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Green day today so I had jacket potatoes and beans for lunch. I am starting to get fed up of eating this but im still enjoying it. Im sure with time i will learn to cook more things.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  All I can think about is weigh day on wednesday, I am dreading it. I have bought some scales and i have been constantly weighing myself for the past 4 days. It is getting an obsession now. I took about the battery out and threw it in the bin. I will leave weigh in a surprise. Im sure it will make me try harder!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  This may seem a little too much information but I promised to tell all in this blog!&lt;br /&gt;Going to the toilet have improved dramatically! There, its out! No more said about it ok!! ;- )&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Pasta with tomato pasata, onions and chillies. All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At last something different!! Im starting to get more confidence in cooking now. Ive always bean able to cook but was scared to make something wrong. This pasta was amazing! It tasted like a restaurant would cook! If anything exciting happens (not likely to) Ill post it!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The weekend is here at last!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I may go a little off today as I am going out for a drink with one of my best mates tonight. No I know what your going to say, Im cheating myself, it wont last etc etc!! Im not a big drinker and neither are my friends, but once in a while! You know what I mean!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I felt great this morning!! Mood was ecstatic!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Weetabix with semi skimmed milk. 1 glass of orange juice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I thought I might try a red day today. I bought lots of lean bacon at Tescos on wednesday (it was buy one get one free)! Isn't it funny how they always do buy one get one free but never one at half price! This means ive got double the amount in the fridge and the sell by date is a week away!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I had a roadshow to do for work at doncaster dome today so I took an apple and some water with me to see me through. I must have lost a pound in weight in sweat! Donny dome is so hot and humid its like a sauna! All I had to do was play some music while a presenter did some swimming games with the kids and i got paid for it!! EASY MONEY!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  When I got home I was quite hungry, so out came the bacon!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Grilled lean bacon, fried mushrooms in fry light and 2 poached eggs. All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I really enjoyed lunch, it felt like id eaten something bad as in theory it was a fry up, but all to slimming world standards!! I didn't feel as full as I did on a green day but not hungry enough to snack (sandwich visualizing again)!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Dave came round and we WALKED to the local. It was very pleasant ! I only had 4 pints and I was nearly a gonna! SO for any ladies reading, im a cheap date :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea (10.30pm) Grilled lean Bacon 2 poached eggs cooked while drunk!!!!! All Free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I got back I was starving! I think thats why drinking is so bad for you!! Its not the drink as such, its the food you eat after. I could have murdered a donner kebab but i had grilled bacon and 2 eggs. That was it for me!! But a quick view of my laptop desktop brought me back up! I did feel more awake though, but not motivated which I thought was strange! I had a few text messages on my phone from family and friends wishing me well on my journey which also picked me up!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast. Special K Sustain with Semi Skimmed Milk. 1 Small glass of orange juice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My mood got better on the way to work as the sun was shining and I had the window down. You cant beat fresh air!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I got to work, friends asked me how I was doing and what I had been eating. I told them and they were full of encouragement which lifted me even more! By 10am i was as high as I could be. I felt a little peckish so i had a Bannana. Now for me that is a miracle! Ive never been a fan of bannanas, but apparently they are full of complex carbohydrates and keep you going. I did enjoy it! REALLY ENJOYED IT!! I drank sumptuous amounts of black coffee and got on with the days work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch. Jacket potato with egg fried rice. Muller light. All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By about 12.15 I was quite hungry so I broke out the rest of the egg rice I had made the day before. I had it with a jacket potato and it didn't look the most appetizing meal but it was bloody lovely!! Ive also took to drinking more water! I have to add some sugar free cordial top make it slide down better though!! The Muller light toffee yogurt I had after was amazing!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was getting very excited!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Snacks. 2 apples&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I got in from work, I didn't feel that hungry, but I knew I needed to have something. Its not normally like me to have something because I needed it!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tea. Jacket potato with a tin of beans. Muller yogurt. All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After tea I felt really full, so i went to finish some work off on my laptop and by the time I had done it was around 9.30! I had not thought about food in all that time!! I could see this becoming a habit! A good habit!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Night. Nil by mouth again!! The thought of eating first thing in the morning has always replused me. But hey hoe! Gotta start the metabloism! I was shocked as to how easily the breakfast went down! I was satisfied and felt like I had done somthing good!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Off to work!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;During the trip to work, all I could think about was the journey I would take while losing my weight. The ups, the downs (hopefully not) and the final result! It also made me think of my reasons for wanting to lose weight. I couldnt put my finger on it. I dont think it was health reasons, so that was out. Then it came to me. CONFIDENCE!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;  Ive never been a confident person, soley because of my weight. Ive always put off talking to women as I dont have any self confidence and I would love to walk into a clothes shop and just pick up a pair of jeans safe in the knowledge they would fit. How great would that be!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;  My main motivation was some clothes I saw on the internet (see picture below) I really liked how they looked but couldnt imagine myself in them, but I could if i was thin! So, I used these pictures as a wallpaper on my laptop. Everytime I have a low point I could look at these clothes for a boost! All free&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;hmmmm, this is one of my favorite meals.I love how it filled me up and how satisfied I felt after eating it. For once, I felt good about myself, Sticking to a diet, that didnt feel like a diet!! AND THATS IT!! It didnt feel like a diet!! Its amazing how this had sunk in after just a few hours!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;  Everyone at work was suportive of my new regime, and I think this is a great help! It really eggs you along! Also letting froends or myself down isnt an option!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;  Its strange how I didnt want to snak on anything at work. Normaly it would be biscuits, chocolate, crisps and whatever I could lay my hands on!! But no, I felt full, and didnt feel the need to snack! I just drank water when I did feel a slight need to snack.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Tea: Savoury egg fried Rice. All free&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;  I was quite hungry when it came to tea time. I had been told that batchelors savoury rice was free, and so were eggs. So I thought I would mix the 2 and make egg fried rice! I made the biggest portion you have ever seen! I ate half of it and felt stuffed. I saved the rest for lunch at work the next day.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;  I always get hungry at about 9.30 / 10.00 at night. But tonight was different! I didnt feel hungry at all. They way I got round this was to think about having a sandwhich in front of me, and if I didnt want to shove it down my gullet, i wasnt hungry. All these weird little ways of dealing with stuff sound out of this world, but trust me, they do work!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Night time. The First Night</title><content type='html'>Ok, so Ive decided to join slimming world. It wasnt a difficult choice as I knew I needed to lose weight. I was 24, weight unknown, single and unhappy. Friends at work had told me about slimming world the week before, so I had a good think about it and thought it might be a good idea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I am quite a shy person so the thought of going into a church hall with lots of people I had never met seemed daunting to me. It reminded me of when I once went speed dating, but the sign outside the hall which said "Friends you have yet to meet" did calm me a little.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Ive done weight watchers before so I thought I knew what to expect, Little britain comes to mind. A loud obnoxious leader telling you what you cant eat and if you eat it, hell commeth your way!! But, all seemed quiet on the slimming world front when I walked in! Everyone had a friendly face and greeted me with a smile! So far so good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Now, the nerves were kicking in a bit, I didnt know where to go, where to stand or what the bloody hell to do!! Hands were in the pockets just like a school kid waiting to told off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  A lady came over to me and said, "Are you here to join?" I said "Yes" obviously, but i was half  wanting to say no, ive got the wrong place. She sat me down in on a seat away from the other members and handed me a little pack, which I held in dread! Weights, measures, cant have this, cant have that, noooo wayyy hoesay!! But suprisingly it wasnt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  The main book was a clever flip book with red and green days. By this time I had found out her name was Lindsay, and Lindsay talked me through how slimming world works, i was shocked on how easy it looked!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  I wont go into the full workings, just join yourself!! In a nutshell, both red and green days have what slimming world call "Free Foods" These are basically foods of which you can eat as much of until you are so full, you cant talk, move etc. This sounded good!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Once Lindsay had talked me thorough slimming world, I sat down with the group and went through Image Therapy. This is where members can talk through ideas, recipies and the like. I rather enjoyed it as it gave me an insight into how much of a group slimming world is! There was alot of laughter, which for me is a bonus! Then Lindsay went through how much people had lost altogether and that week. I was suprised by some of the numbers and was getting excited about my new lifestyle!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  So, once image therapy had finished, lindsay weighed me and asked me for a target goal. To be honest, anything lower than what I was at that time would be a goal!!
